MIG CO2 / MAG Welding Course, Continuous Wire Welding

The MIG welding course (MIG/MAG) with CO2 or shielding gas mixtures is the fastest and most efficient pathway to production and industrial welding. In this method, a continuous wire feed is automatically supplied to the weld point, enabling a high work rate and relatively quick learning curve. The course suits welders who want to enter industry, factories, fabrication shops, and serial production.

Welding Technologies, Ministry of Labor Supervised

Official program name: Welding Technologies. Students choose the welding process and the certification they need. Course duration is 139 academic hours. The program is supervised by the Ministry of Labor; in addition to an international welder certification, graduates receive a Ministry of Labor completion certificate. The number of sessions varies by format (morning, evening or Fridays), but total hours and the overall outline stay the same.

What Is MIG / MAG Welding?

MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and MAG (Metal Active Gas) welding, together GMAW, is an arc welding process using a continuous filler wire and shielding gas. CO2 (MAG) is common for carbon steel; argon or mixtures are used for additional materials.

The method is popular in factories, automotive, fabrication, light steel construction, and jobs requiring high productivity.

Who Is This Course For?

Welders with a stick welding foundation, those with a technical background, and anyone looking to work in factories and industrial environments.

Also suitable for those seeking a trade with a relatively fast learning curve and immediate application in the job market.

Benefits of Training With Us

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between MIG with CO2 and MIG with argon?

CO2 (MAG) is common for steel and industrial work. Argon is used for more sensitive materials. The course covers the fundamentals of MIG welding with CO2.

Do I need to know stick welding before MIG?

A stick welding foundation is recommended, but contact us to discuss the right pathway for you.

How long does it take to learn MIG welding?

It depends on your level. We will provide accurate information by phone or through our contact form.

Is there a subsidy for the course?

Course subsidies depend on meeting eligibility criteria. It is worth checking with our course coordinator, who will be glad to guide you through the process.
